Pranburi beach
PRANBURI
is a district located just 25 kilometres south of Hua Hin, offering visitors a diverse choice of activities. 
Here you can enjoy the rolling blue waves which break to shore along a long, Sandy beach; sail along 
the Pranburi river; astound your eyes with the kaleidoscopic colour on the wings of a multitude of 
butterflies as you trek up waterfalls and through valleys; or be thrilled by a host of other outdoor 
activities.
	
PRANBURI BEACH
is a beautiful long stretch of beach which adjoins Hua Hin Beach and also connects with Pranburi National Park and Sam Roi Yod National Park. Although it is located close to Hua Hin, the beach at Pranburi has remained tranquil and unspoilt. It is pleasantly shady and enjoys refreshingly cool sea breezes. There are plenty of resorts and other forms of accomodation for visitors, especially at Khao Krailok beach and the beach near the "Ror Por Chor" Accelerated Rural Development & Improvement Centre. Those who love sailing and other watersports will be delighted at being able to do so under clear, blue, sunny skies on crystal clear, blue water at Phattra Marina.

PRANBURI RIVER
has its source in the forests of Kaeng Krachan and flows through the mountain ranges on the western 
border before flowing waterway are lots of interesting places, such as sarn Jao Pho Lak Muang Joss  
House,several pineapple plantations and a number of fishing villages. The river is ideal for sailing along,  
and there are plenty of sites where you can stop off for a spot of birdwatching with many species of 
guilemots and other amphibious birds in evidence. It takes about half a day to sail along the river from  
the railway bridge to Pranburi National Park.

THANARAT INFANTRY CAMP 
is the place for you are one of those people who loves challenging and exciting outdoor activities. The camp, set in an area of 600,000 rai, is now open to general public. It offers a chance to experience a wide range of "Soft-Adventure" activities, such as high-diving, rock-climbing, shooting, fishing, camping etc.
KHAO JAO FOREST
Situated within the boundaries of Tambon Khao Jao Sub-District, the forest lies to the west of Pranburi. The well-kept woodland is rich,fertile and home to hundreds of butterflies. This site hosts many interesting tourist attractions including Phrak Takhraw Waterfall, Phrak Ta-louis Waterfall, In-Thanin Waterfall, Huay Gob Waterfall and Karen hilltribe villages. The route passes through agricultural areas and Pranburi Dam. Some areas of high ground are passable only in four-wheel drive vehicles by those with an adventurous spirit.For convenience you should arrange to bring your own cars. PRANBURI PARK RESERVE
(Located about 15 kilometers south of Hua Hin) is set in the strip of land connecting Hua Hin and Pranburi.It can be reached by following the route into Khao Tao. Once inside the parkland there is a wooden bridge,on which stands a noticeboard offering valuable information about the ecosystem of the mangrove swamps.
