HAD WANAKORN BEACH
Located in the area of 345 kilometre stone on the main Petchkasem Road, about 22 kilometres south of Prachuap Khiri Khan is Had Wanakon Beach. This tranquil, sandy beach is shaded by rows of casuarina pine trees. There is accomodation belonging to the Forestry Faculty of Kasetsart University who can be contacted on (02) 5790520.

HUAY YANG WATERFALL
The waterfall is situated about 6 kilometres off the main Petchkasem Road. Between kilometre 350 and 351, you turn off of the main road, about 27 kilometres south of the town of Prachuap Khiri Khan. Spread out over an area of 161 square kilometres of Amphur Thap Sakae District and Bang Saphan, are serveral beautiful waterfalls, such as Bua Suwan waterfall, Khao Larn Waterfall, Hin Dart Waterfall, Kha Orn (or Thap Mon) Waterfall and Huay Yang Waterfall, a ninetiered cascade which is the most popular with visitors. In addition, you can search for "Poo Jao Fa", or "Prince Crabs", which can be found in this area of the national park.

THE HEADQUARTERS OF SAM ROI YOD NATIONAL PARK
is the place to contact about accomodation, or to get details and advice about all of the tourist 
attractions and places of interest to see within the park. Besides this, the office has slides and 
videos which describe and summarize the most useful information for tour groups.
 
THE VANTAGE POINTSON KHAO DAENG AND KHAO DAENG CANAL
from which to view the scenery are at the peak of Khao Daeng Hill, not far from the park's 
headquarters. It is a climb of about 500 metres, but well worth the effort. From the peak you 
have a view over entire park and of the Khao Daeng Canal and its creeks as the current races 
through the valleys and along crevices on the rock faces. Here, where in the distance the water 
meets the sky, is a splendid place to witness the spectacular dawn as the sun rises over the horizon. 

Klong Khao Daeng Canal is ideal for rafting if you want to observe, from close quarters, the 
magnificent nature and the wildlife that have made their homes in the forest on the edge of the 
mangrove swamps.

THE FISHING VILLAGE OF BAN BANG PU
is where you will find the traditional homes of the local fisherman, located close to Wat Bang Pu Temple. This is where you can moor your boat while you head off towards Om Laem Tien cape and Had Laem Sala Beach.

HAD LAEM SALA BEACH - TAM PHRAYA NAKORN CAVE
is a long stretch of beach in the foothills of the mountain, about 16 kilometres from the national park. There are guest houses, small restaurants and a campsite where you can rent or pitch your own tentpo the pavilion, It makes the cave more beautiful than any other in Prachuab Khiri Khan.

HAD SAM PHRAYA BEACH
is a tranquil, shady, sandy beach about 3.5 kilometres from the park's headquarters. There is 
a camping area where tourists can erect tents to spend the night.

The southern end of the beach is on the edge of a mudflat and an excellent observation point 
for ornithologists. The most suitable time to visit is as the tide goes out during the early evening 
between October and March when many kinds of migratory birds can be spotted.
THE VANTAGE POINT OF BIRD WATCHING AT RONG JE 
is a place for observing birdlife, as it is the site with the greatest number of field birds and 
migratory birds. Rong Je is about 6-7 kilometres inland from Petchkasem Road. The area is a 
watery swamp full or aquatic and marsh plants, making it a natural feeding ground for the birdlife, 
and a natural egg-laying nest for guillemots and other amphibious birds. The ideal time to visit is 
from October to march when the hundreds of species of migratory birds are also in residence.


KHAO KHAN KRADAI BIRD OBSERVATION POINT
is situated about 3 kilometres before you reach the Forestry Department Border Checkpoint at Ban Phu Noi. It is and excellent spot for observing many species of seabirds, as it is possible to punt for about 5 kilometres. The most suitable time for birdwatching is in the morning and early evening.

THAM KAEW CAVE
is set within the boundaries of Khoa Sam Roi Yod National Park, about 2 kilometres from Bang Pu. The cave is full of magnificent, clear stalagmites and stalactites,which create a splendid spectacle as they sparkle like crystal glass in the light.

THAM SAI CAVE
is another cave within the boundaries of Sam Roi Yod National Park, about 9 kilometres from the park's headquarters. Inside the cave, stalagmites and stalactites cascade splendidly in the shirnmering light *** Both of the aforementioned caves are unlit and have sleep narrow passages on high ground.
